Hi from what i can find out on the openwrt time line and forrems it will work but WIFI is crap but i haven't tryed it so dont flash it and blame me lol. if i do try it will let you no.

Bump! any one? if i try out Gargoyle and i fuck up can i tftp ddwrt? If i can get it to work then i can have the e3000 as my mane AP instead of my wrt160nl.

Hi why did you flash gargoyle_1.5.3? wen were on gargoyle_1.5.11 anyway try and get a ping from the router and then tftp the new FW to the router.

i use Gargoyle because i can see what my kids are searching for and what sites they go on. i all sow run a script to block ads and spyware sites through a hosts file. one other thing which will not matter to most people is the web interface for Gargoyle works really well with screenreaders like jaws...

Gargoyle wont run on the router til openwrt has the hole nand thing rite.

Hi if you are stil on stock fw then flash gargoyle_1.5.11-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin
if it has openwrt or ddwrt on there then go with the 2nd one. good luck!

Gargoyle and E3000

Hi i have bin gifted a E3000 and wood like to install Gargoyle on it but all the posts i can find about say it wont run. Over at the openwrt forum some one said that it works now. What should i do dont want a brick?
