Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle

I had even flashed my router back to LinkSys firmware and still could not connect via L2TP. Is this an inherent limitation in the support of this hardware? I don't think this matters, but I am trying to connect via L2TP/IPSEC, not PPTP. For proper function L2TP needs a functional GRE protocol (for ...

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle

I understand you don't recommend it, but how can we get it to work in Gargoyle? You can try the Polish compilation: https://dl.eko.one.pl/gargoyle-pl/ , here is partial support for manually installing kernel modules. However, you must manually configure the protocol over SSH, the GUI may ove...

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle

I have to use L2TP for work and Gargoyle just won't play nice. I understand you don't recommend it, but how can we get it to work in Gargoyle? I don't have a choice, but I don't want to re-flash to a different firmware. I will, if I have to, given the pandemic, but if there was a way in Gargoyle it...

Re: WNDR3700v4 Wireless Dropouts *UPDATE*

 Look at the router via ssh in the /etc/config/wireless file and change the value (if there is no value, add a line):

Code: Select all

option disassoc_low_ack '0'
https://forum.openwrt.org/t/solved-deau ... onds/16294

Maybe it helps.

Re: WNDR3700v4 Wireless Dropouts *UPDATE*

If you often disconnect the WiFi client due to no activity, you need to set the client "power save" - this will increase the battery consumption. It varies on each system and sometimes it is necessary to use the application.

Re: périphérique USB

Gargoyle does not support (yet) manually installing kernel modules like OpenWrt, so Awus036H (RTL8187L chipset) is not supported :( .

Gargoyle ne prend pas (encore) en charge l'installation manuelle du module du noyau comme avec OpenWrt, donc Awus036H (chipset RTL8187L) n'est pas pris en charge :( .
