yes, it has some sense, agree, sounds reasonable. But what approach would you recommend to setup some common rules for mentioned above "default" group? And what is the advantage to provide all those people the same IP (but not guarantee ) vs of keeping them (guarantee!) in one range? If so...

Why DHCP is on random order?

Hi there, What is the reason to assign IPs from the DHCP pool on random basis? I believe, if it would be done starting from the begining of DHCP range it will give you extra ability to set "default" group rules (quotas, restrictions, etc) for non-static IPs, for example - for wifi guests, ...

Firewall restriction is not protecting from pinging

I have blocked some internet IPs, (Only The following hosts, All day, Every Day, All Internet Access), but these hosts are still pingable from internal network.
Router Netgear WNDR3700v2, Gargoyle ver 1.4.3, configuration - Gateway.

Is this normal?
