Re: WNDR3700V2 - Cannot connect at 300Mbps on 5Ghz channels
Thanks for your response. The adaptor on my Thinkpad T400 is an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN with both 802.11n Channel Width (5.2 Ghz and 2.4Ghz) parameters in the Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN Driver (Driver version 13.4.0.9) set to auto (the other option is 20MHz only). I was able to get a 300Mbps link wi...

Re: Version 1.5.1 & 1.4.4
Thanks for your response. I use OpenDNS servers configured under 'Custom DNS Servers'. I don't know how to change dnsmasq. How? Where is sysctl.conf and what should I set the conntrack timeout to? Here is my setup. Search and file the same file name from SSH to the router, ex. WinSCP. Don't know wh...

Re: Version 1.5.1 & 1.4.4
Like the last version I had (v. 1.5), I have to reboot the routers every night with v. 1.4.4. The problem I'm having is a slowdown of the internet as reported by speedtest.net. It seems progressive, meaning the longer it goes on, the worse it gets. I've seen the 'problem' reduce my 20Mb line down t...

Re: 3g - Mobile ISP
Check yr rc.local file, should be like this # Put your custom commands here that should be executed once # the system init finished. By default this file does nothing. ACTION=add sh /etc/hotplug.d/usb/10-usb DEV=$(awk -F[=\ ] '/P:/ {print $4":"$6}' /proc/bus/usb/devices) for i in $DEV; do ...

Re: Qos and web usage stop working after a few hours
My suggestion reflash yr router using winscp, pretty simple using it. Copy the fw file to the tmp folder renaming code.bin then open a putty session from winscp using those commands cd /tmp mtd -e firmware -r write code.bin firmware Yr esxsisting fw will be erased then reconfig yr router from scratch.
