USB port on router....

Does Gargoyle interact with a routers USB ports ?
I power a raspberry pi from my TP-link 3600, but it looks like the power has gone off every now and then.... as if the USB had gone to sleep .?

Ok, Im back on Gargoyle... configured it back to how it was before I left... apart from the WIFI country code, which wont "take" uci set wireless.radio0.country=UK uci set wireless.radio1.country=UK uci commit wireless iw reg get Still shows US !!!! On another issue... when I set the password for WI...

It's a bit more basic than that... I was asking how do you actually do it !
after a bit of bravado... I hooked up to my router via "juice ssh" and just typed stuff in !
.. sometimes people who 'can' overestimate the knowledge of those who 'cant' ! lol

It was adding the pi address to dnsmasq. conf that did it for me, as long as all your other kit is on the same network range (and subnet) it should all propagate. A suggestion I happened across was to disable dchp on the router, and let the pi do it... that should work too (logically) but never trie...

That option never was checked ! but I came to the conclusion that it was overzealous blacklisting of all the Amazon junk was causing the girlfriends fire tablet to constantly "phone home" :evil: Eventually I gave in and completely rebuilt the pi... seems to have sorted it. (famous last words etc)
