The usb-ttl just arrived, oddly enough, i recovered it through TFTP using this guide.
Now that i think, i never got to use the native firmware. Probably will continue with gargoyle due to familiarity

Ok, I'll get one, it'll take a couple of weeks to arrive. But then, what will i do with it? Flashing / Recovery using the serial console?

It just reboots about 12 seconds in. Connected only to the PSU.

I tried to update from 1.10 to 1.12 with gargoyle_1.12.0-ar71xx-generic-archer-c7-v2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin under "update firmware" admin panel. When i clicked 'upgrade now' i received a blank javascript alert, i think i clicked yes. I don't remember have seen any special lights activity,...

Do you mean a workaround for this: Over ethernet, devices don't disconnnect from gargoyle; but gargoyle disconnects from the original ap(bad signal?). Anyways, seemingly it doesn't try to reconnect. There's been situations were there's not internet, and instead of rebooting gargoyle, I just re-save ...

I see, Is master scheduled for next release?
As for react, well admin panels are well suited for the intereactivity It brings. I imagine an api layer (js?), and a web server that can throw react code are needed.

I kept using it for a couple of days, the main issue was the devices were disconnecting from the second AP, it seems the later goes down for a sec.
