If I try to update the router from 1.12.0 to latest 1.14.0 the gui hangs for a long time and than is accessable again with firmware 1.12.0 ??? Can I download the sysupgrade firmware via scp when I am logged in on the router with ssh -l root IP-Router ? where must the firmware file copied to? And how...

I am back on all my tplink 1043nd and wrd4300 to 1.6.0. necessary client bridge mode does really not work on these routers with 1.6.1.
The no dhcp issue I had with 1.6.0 I was able to solve with the line :
option dhcp 'ip_of_dhcpserver'
in /overlay/etc/network.

Gargoyle should have OpenWrt failsafe modus? So that should give me access to the router? I have downloaded the newest stock rom from tp-link for my wr1043nd v1. stripped the bin with dd if=[original_name_with_boot_in_it] of=tplink.bin skip=257 Bs=512. Than flashed it . There seems to be a bug in wireless repater mode. If some client logs into gargoyle and not the repeated ssid, the gargoyle router and all behind it, is no more accessable until reboot. From logging in to fail it lasts ca. 10 sec.

I have a TP-LInk WRD 4300 with firmware 1.6.1 on second floor, a Nas and a Desktop connected by wire. First Floor is a Fritzbox 7390 with the rest of the Lan.
