Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06
Anyone was able to reproduce this? This is an atipic router (https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/youku/youku_yk1) 1) Do not use a backup setting 2) Set another static channel (e.g. 5) 3) Do not have far clients (weak clients can disconnect) 2nd didn't help, 3rd never was an issue (laptop is less than 1m...

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06
Thanks for this version! I successfully updated 1.11.X RC5 on a Youku YK1. There is a new issue with the wireless (don't remember having it for RC5, didn't test for that, though). If I copy some big files through wireless from one local machine to another local machine, then after some undeterminis...

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 5
Seems to work fine on Youku YK1, upgraded from RC2 with preserving settings. There is one thing, though. I had to restart the router several times until it was willing to act as a gateway for the machines on my LAN. The router itself was accessing the internet, DNS seemed to work fine, but ping 8.8...

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 5
Funnily enough, i saw this exact same behaviour yesterday. I've never seen it before that, or seen it since. If someone found a way to reproduce the issue every time, i will fix it. I've seen it exactly once before with RC2. But that was not right after the firmware upgrade to RC2, but rather about...

Re: Host packages locally which are built together with image
As an FYI, if anyone attempts to do the same: the solution is that the local sources need to be added as and not with http.
Note that there are 3 slashes after file:, the third one is for the root directory on the router.
Code: Select all
file:///tmp/whatever

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 2
ramips/youku-yk1 seems to work fine. I preserved settings, don't see any problems, yet.

Re: Host packages locally which are built together with image
Yes I did. I simply copied over the whole built directory as it was.Lantis wrote:Did you include the metadata files as well?

Re: Youku YK-L1c
Both profiles seem to compile even after make custom, so I removed the "do not merge" flag from the PR.
Thanks for all the help!
