Ok now it makes all sense, thanks guys. The speed is not worth the original firmware, id rather get a second Gbit router for the faster downloads.

But then the term Gbit Router confuses me... shouldnt it then be at least able to do more then 100Mbit? Im not sure if theres much more load on a wan port then on a lan port.

Atm im on 1.9.0, gonna revert back tomorrow i guess... or when i find the time.

Hi, Im quite satisfied with Gargoyle on the wndr3700v2, until i changed my bandwith to 250mbit down. Directly connected to my providers modem i get the speed, but on the wndr its capped to about 100mbit. The router shows all ports as Gbit. I cant even find the max wan speed of this device via Google...
