Change mac is posible on Gargoyle?

Sorry my english.

I use Gargoyle on Fonera and I need change the Mac address. I not found anyone option on gargoyle. Connected by ssh I tried this commands

ifconfig wifi0 down hw ether 00:13:F7:xx:xx:xx

but not function

ifconfig: SIOCSIFHWADDR: Invalid argument


Any idea?
