trying to install the belkin drivers and get ERROR: Package kmod-usb-serial-option marked as 'hold', cannot uninstall

anyone able to give me some info on how to install the drivers? for the usb to serial device?

well it looks like I have managed to put a pretty good brick in this little router... I now have it where I cant even get into uboot... anyone have any Ideas how to get a good flash on it so I can maybe get uboot back ..I am trying to use the serial console and was in fact in it .I had trpouble writ...

Ok Thanks Lantis good reading I went ahead and ordered the developer console with the serial setup... Maybe I wont have to jtag it if I do oh well... Just wanted to say thanks for heading me in the right direction...

ok well I tried several methods from the openwrt but still I cant get into the router what other "more drastic" options do I have ?

bricked my new router trying to install an image with the xxclient in it... can anyone tell me how to get it back going again... cant ping it or see it at all... even wireshark doesnt see traffic...
