OK, router resurrected with OpenWRT 12.09 and then installed CUPS. But still cannot print from router. My next step was to install stock firmware. Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers? https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CanonCaptDrv190 I have an Canon LBP6670 and print PCL5e because the proprietary drivers add another level of complexity.
