Re: Bridged networking with Virtual machines problem
It's a clean machine! I've installed a clean XP to retest in both VMWare and VBox (Vbox was installed on my PC, but following suggestions, did a clean uninstall-install; vmware wasn't on my system, so I did a clean install) It all started with an old VBox version using a WinXP host, but because I wa...

Bridged networking with Virtual machines problem
Hi! I'm having problems with VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation using Bridged networking. Guest machines can go as far as the router IP, but not further. I can configure the Gargoyle router in the virtual machine and not browse the web nor use any internet related program. I don't have any special co...

Re: Problem after update 1.8->1.10 WDS systems
Master: https://i.imgur.com/R9C9IWS.png Repeater: https://i.imgur.com/pzRk29p.png This is my config right now. It's the same config that I had on 1.8.0. Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes if I restart the repeater when it's not connected, it won't connect to the SSID of the master. But If ...

Can you point me a tutorial how to grab them? I'm not a newbie but didn't find a simple way, except screenshots.

Problem after update 1.8->1.10 WDS systems
Hi! I have a TP-Link TL-WR841N v8 (connected to Internet, set up as a Gateway and AP+WDS) and a TP-Link TL-WR841N v5 configured as WDS repeater. It was working ok with 1.8. I've updated to 1.10 (clean) and reconfigured as was earlier. Now the repeater gets disconnected. I don't know how to troublesh...

Re: Need help setting up QoS for the first time.
Hi!
I have a not very good 6/1mbps cable connection.
My worst nightmare is my backups programs (Google Photos and Zoolz). I use audio streaming a lot (phones/tablet/PC/ChromeCast Audio). Do you think this setup will help me?
Regards,
Djago

Re: QoS with a repeater and an unstable ISP
In the 600kbps graph above (last one) it seems to show QoS working. Are you still experiencing slow downloads/browsing when QoS upload is limited to 600kbps? Yes, it works a little better, but not much. RDP shows a second of delay (without QoS the delay can be 3-5") The other question I had wa...

Re: QoS with a repeater and an unstable ISP
geee... doesn't seem to be the case. I'll show you some uploads bandwidth graphs. Download is not needed because is almost null. This is my computer starting to upload photos wihout QoS. It seems that speed is ok today maxing at aprox. 1mbps: http://s27.postimg.org/nctw6snar/No_Qo_S.png Then I turn ...

Re: QoS with a repeater and an unstable ISP
Yes, that would be the logical solution, but I thought that out "out of the box" config (with ISP speed of course) for Gargoyle would handle the job nicely. What's more strange is that it's not an uncommon situation so I supposed that lots of peoples would be in the same boat...
