What I mean to say is that in the Basic configuration page I have "Connect Via:" set to "DHCP (Wired)". My router should get an IP address from the cable modem dynamically.

I can't add attachments. I can however tell you that only WAN MAC ADDRESS has data. All of the other WAN fields have a dash to represent no data. nworbnhoj thanks for the suggestion but I don't currently have a modem router combination. I am attempting to install gargoyle_1.8.0-ar71xx-generic-archer-c7-v2-squashfs-factory.bin on brand new Archer C7 v2. The firmware installed fine and I am able to login to the router and configure.
