Re: Lede to be renamed Openwrt
That's too bad. Latest wireless drivers work very well on my wrt3200 running LEDE. Really like some of the features of Gargoyle, but not the issues with the older wireless drivers.

Re: Lede to be renamed Openwrt
Yes, Gargoyle will move to "LEDE". It isn't a trivial task. A new dev branch was started for this purpose. Unsafe is a strong term. I can't think of any CVEs that were particularly troublesome. @Lantis In your sig you list builds by ispyisail. I have a wrt3200 and Gargoyle builds for it h...

Re: WRT1900AC V1 Wireless driver version?
I already answered your duplicate question here https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5805&p=40033#p40033 Yes. Latest. For clarification, that site is my personal site and any builds on there are unofficial. Sorry. For some reason I could not find your first response. :o...

Re: WRT1900AC V1 Wireless driver version?
The WRT1900AC is not an atheros chip set. It is a Marvell chip set so I still do not know the answer to my question.tapper wrote:latest ath10k
Hate to do an install to find out when the person doing the compiles should know. Install and then remove is not an exercise I wish to do.

WRT1900AC V1 Wireless driver version?
I see on the download site for the WRT1900AC V1 in the newgui subfolder there is a new build dated 8/13/2016. This is after Marvell released their latest and, in my opinion best driver. Driver version 10.3.0.18-20160804 and includes both new wireless firmware plus new drivers. Obvious question is do...

Re: Linksys WRT1900ac - Planned Gargoyle Support and Advice
I see there is a build for the wrt1900ac v1 with a date off 8/13/2016. The download site says new newgui. Since this is later then the latest wireless drivers and firmware released by Marvell, dated 8/04/2016, does this build incorporate the new drivers, 10.3.0.18-20160804? I get excellent performan...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-October-18 05:57.torrent
@RichMD Another way to switch back to the Linksys partition 1 is the following: Telnet into the router, if running DD-WRT or Openwrt Then give this command ubootenv set boot_part 1 reboot You can see what partition is the one you are on with this command: ubootenv get boot_part This easier then the ...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-October-18 05:57.torrent
Lantis, thanks for the reply and the example config. I keep learning more all the time. Right now I am running Openwrt CC 15.05. I managed to mess things up editing the wireless config files when running Gargoyle and trying to get ac working on 5Ghz wireless. Finally got things so that the radio wou...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-October-18 05:57.torrent
Successfully installed Gargoyle 1.9 on my wrt1900ac v1. Seems steady as a rock so far. Only issue I see is the lack of AC wireless support. I think this is because of the version of CC being used has the 10.3.0.3 version of the wireless driver?? There is no option in the UI either, again because of ...
