Re: Archer C7 v3?
At 3 month mark ran into problem with router continuously rebooting every 1-2 minutes after tweaking Quotas and QoS rules. Got out of boot loop by removing contents of `/usr/data/bwmon' but don't know what caused it to begin with or how to prevent: Rebooting every 1-2 minutes

[SOLVED]: Rebooting every 1-2 minutes
Removing 'provisional' from Solved claim. It's been stable for >12 hours.
Now the question becomes: how to avoid this in future?

[SOLVED]: Rebooting every 1-2 minutes
Solved, provisionally. Following a hint in "Gargoyle CLI" https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8505 thread: "/usr/data/bwmon - where graph data is stored (and can occasionally cause boot loops)" I used WinSCP to delete contents of `/usr/data/bwmon` and `/...

Rebooting every 1-2 minutes
I have a TP-Link Archer-C7 AC1750 running Gargoyle v1.9.1 since mid January. Outside of some issues in first week dropping WAN it's been running fine. Today I tweaked the QoS Up/Down max rates and re-enabled a user quota. After applying settings the router began behaving strangely, dropping connecti...

A quota library to choose from and store to
It would be really nice to build (and/or import!) a quota library, and then be able to pick and choose which ones are in effect. For example our regular quota for month is 48GB each among 4 of us. However this month is non-standard so for the remaining 10 days I need to drop the quotas down to 3GB e...

Re: Archer C7 v3?
Well, I took the plunge, and it works! :D My initial experience is very similar to @butler360 in https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9836. I did spend the night with my heart in the pit of my stomach though. The firmware upgrade was seamless, and everything worked swimmingl...

Re: Archer C7 v3?
It isn't supported by us yet. I wouldn't recommend flashing the v2 firmware. Anything could happen. Oh man. I bought this router just so I could get quota management via Gargoyle. I checked the compatibility guide before purchase too. Oof. (Not complaining at you! Just in the general direction of T...
