I flashed my 1043NDv1 with 1.8.1 last night, it got stuck during the update process twice but luckily didn't brick. Then after about an hour the wifi started to do weird stuff (video streaming became really terrible). A restart of the router then fixed it. No more problems since then.

The installation guide for the TP-Link 1043 ND v1 for example still states 1.6.2 as the download. I've upgraded mine to 1.8.0 after the recent announcement with no problems. Unfortunately the captcha process to get a Wiki account is fucked so I can not register to correct it. Can someone please give...
