Router for 1Gb connection
Hello, I just upgraded my internet service from 250/12 Mb to 1Gb/40 Mb (contracted not actual). These were my connection speed tests, from the CLI prior and after the upgrade on a wrt1200ac/gargoyle 1.10.0. Prior (250/12 Mb) 230/12 - QoS disable 180/11 - QoS enabled (for download & upload) Curre...

Dynamic Service Classes
Hello, I want to dynamically change the class to specific "match criteria". I tested the following and it seems to work (sleeps are to provide som settle time, not sure if is beneficial or detrimental): throttle.sh /sbin/uci set qos_gargoyle.download_rule_400.class=dclass_6 /sbin/uci set q...

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Display Options Display Issue
A quick update. After deleting all the data the reports worked for all options (minutes, quarter hour, hour, days, months) for two months and so. This is my home router so I do not log in every day, but often enough to know that it was working two weeks ago. Today I tried to pull the day report and ...

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Display Options Display Issue
Hi,
The Developer console did not show any error, so I decided to clear the data and start over and the issue is fixed now.
Checking the daily usage was more important than the historical details.
Many thanks for your time.

Bandwidth Distribution Display Options Display Issue
Hello, When I set Distribution Time Frame to "Days" the "Distribution Interval" only shows December 31 in the pull down, I tried different browsers and OS and the results are the same. IF I set the Time Frame to anything but Days the Interval pull down works. Is there anything I ...

Re: Assign Different DNS to DHCP clients
I ended up using iptables to pre-route blocks of IPs or individual hosts to different DNS's. Not pretty but easy to track and configure with scripts and custom config files. Mind sharing your solution steps using iptables? Might help other users in the same/similar situation. Thanks. Sure thing, bu...

Thanks. I ended up using iptables to pre-route blocks of IPs or individual hosts to different DNS's. Not pretty but easy to track and configure with scripts and custom config files. Have you read the dnsmasq OpenWrt wiki? In particular, the section on assigning individual options to hosts? https://w...
