Installed this build on my WDR3600 last Sunday, and it is rock-solid.

Manual MTU, does it help with Gaming?
Hey all. Something I've always wondered, and hopefully someone could help me understand. Currently, I switched the Auto setting on the MTU box to 1492, because in the back of my head I seem to remember gaming sessions being more responsive if I decreased the MTU. I have zero empirical proof (might h...

Re: Version 1.7.1 - Guest Network Support
For those of you having issues with Chromecast, like I was, I found out that, since Google DNS servers are hard-coded into the device, the setting "Force Clients to Use Router DNS Servers" was generating collisions and hence, disconnecting the stream. Once I cleared that option, I tested a...

Re: Version 1.7.1 - Guest Network Support
Last night I experienced random disconnects on the 2.4 GHz SSID while watching videos on the Chromecast. I upped the TCP connection limit and after a reboot it seems to have helped, but the wireless does feel kinda flaky.

Re: Version 1.7.1 - Guest Network Support
Can somebody else confirm that "Restore Default Configuration" don't work with 1.7.1? I can also confirm it doesn't. Only way to restore Old Config is to SSH, firstboot and THEN Load the Old file. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with this, such amazing work you guys are doing, and ...

Re: gargoyle and fq_codel
Asked and answered (well, one question at least) Renamed it with a typo, all is well. Second question still remains tho, how would i see the difference between original script and this one? Thanks in advance. UPDATE: Sadly if I replace the original QoS script with this one, my WDR 3600 running 1.7.1...

Re: gargoyle and fq_codel
Sorry to necro, but once I replaced the original script, is it normal to have Congestion Control show as Disabled? Sorry again, very interested in the topic but not half as knowledgeable as the previous posters. Also, how would i notice the difference as a layman, mostly interested in online gaming?

Re: Thank you and 1.6.2 to 1.7.1 upgrade question
Hey friend.
I kinda did the same last night and I would advice against using the Config backup of a previous build on 1.7.1. I tried it and all hell broke loose.
In the end I decided to start fresh, and then backup my 1.7.1 config for safekeeping.
Hope it helps.
