qos-gargoyle 1.9.1 compatible with ip-full?
qos-gargoyle 1.9.1 depends on ip instead of ip-full (while 1.7.1 depends on ip-full, not ip). If I remove ip (opkg remove ip --forece-depends) then install ip-full, would QOS still work?

How to change the version number?
I've used the command “git checkout 1.8.0” to switch to the 1.8.0 branch before building. But I got the image file "gargoyle_1.7.x-ar71xx-***-factory.img". How to change the version number to 1.8.0 or 1.8.x? THX in adv.

Re: How to make WAN ip fixed for DDNS ?
yes. Shadowsocks is a proxy. And the service of Shadowsocks client run automatically after the router started up, that means the proxy is working properly all the time when the router is running. In most cases DDNS script could grab WAN ip but sometimes it would grab Shadowsocks server ip instead. T...

How to make WAN ip fixed for DDNS ?
I've installed Shadowsocks client on my Netgear WNDR4300 router with Gargoyle firmware. Then the router got both WAN ip and Shadowsocks server ip. Now the problem is that sometimes the DDNS (e.g., noip.com) may resolve Shadowsocks server ip instead of WAN IP. How can I make the WAN ip as the fixed o...

Re: How to realize dropbear with public key authentication?
Just now I found "/root/.ssh/authorized_keys" was OK, not the same path "/etc/dropbear/authorized_keys" mentioned in OpenWrt wiki.

How to realize dropbear with public key authentication?
Dropbear with public key authentication works well on my Netgear WNDR4300 router (OpenWrt BB 14.07). But the same public key "/etc/dropbear/authorized_keys" doesn't work with Gargoyle 1.7.0. It will just prompt "server refused our key". I've reproduced the public key in according...

Re: How to disable MAC Filtering for the Guest SSID?
Solved
Just inserted the shell script at the beginning of the function "wifi_updown" in /sbin/wifi. Now it will check /etc/config/wireless and make a fix every time after clicking "Save Changes" button in Gargoyle web interface "Connection - Basic".

Re: How to disable MAC Filtering for the Guest SSID?
I disabled Guest Network in Gargoyle web interface "Connection - Basic" and added it manually. Then the Guest SSID would never be affected by Mac Filtering. Now the problem is, the custom wireless settings in /etc/config/wireless will lost every time after clicking "Save Changes"...
