Re: Asus RT-N12 B1 (8MB Flash) Request
The brcm47xx target would be close but not quite right. You'll need to do a "make custom" and select your router from the menu which should configure it for brcm47xx/mips47k. Once this is saved, i tend to kill the build process. Rescue the .config file from within the /custom-src director...

Re: Asus RT-N12 B1 (8MB Flash) Request
If it's as simple as choosing a target and compiling, it should be easy... But what would be involved after following the building from source instructions here: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=developer_documentation Will the compilation process have a target for the RT-N12 B1? Ope...

Asus RT-N12 B1 (8MB Flash) Request
Firstly, I'm aware a different revision of this model was rejected on the basis of it having only a 4MB flash, but the B1 has 8MB. The last TomatoUSB Shibby build for this model is unstable and the router reboots with it at least once a day (and not because of hardware issues - I refurbished the rou...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-December-18 06:33.torrent
After replacing the SPA2102 with a Grandstream HT502, the CPU spiking seems to have gone away. So it looks like the SPA2102 with the most recent firmware has issues. I'm going to stick with the Oleg router for now. Gargoyle is better, because eventhough my Oleg build is relatively new, it is not as ...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-December-18 06:33.torrent
Unfortunately I had to abandon my DIR-615 C1 in favor of a modified WL-500GP V1 with a Single-Band Wireless N miniPCI module. I'm now using a custom Oleg firmware disgned specifically for this scenario. Gargoyle was just becoming completely unstable. I would have to reset it very often because it w...

Re: LAN freezes
I suggest experimenting with different WiFi channels if you're having this problem...
It seems to solve it for me on my DIR-615 C1.

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-November-18 08:37.torrent
So far so good.
Working fantastic on the DIR-615 C1.
This time I made sure to reset to defaults after flashing, and after changing country to JP, I am on channel 12 now, as perhaps this was the cause of my problems with the last build (maybe my channel was crowded).
Much more responsive than 1.6.

I'm now back from 1.6 to this latest build on my DIR-615 C1.
It's much noticeably snappier than 1.6
