Thanks but tried that as well. Nothing helps. It seems I can only reflash with USB but I don't have this special cable.

No luck. I even tried recvdupd.exe with udp sniffing. The LED's are working - PWR ON and every port I put the cable in. SYS LED is OFF.

Hi, I bricked my router with this update. It's TP-Link WR1043ND-V1, I succesfully upgraded to 1.7.0 and tried this update with preserve settings enabled.
