Repeaters: Currently there's some issues with repeaters, i'm working on it. As far as language files: http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_plugins/ under each plugin folder is a languages folder as well. You'll need to use WinSCP to place these into the correct locations e.g. /www/i18n/English-EN/spect...

I can explain this quite easily. You're neutering the gargoyle functionality. /etc/init.d/firewall restart is the incorrect way of restarting the firewall.
