Reloaded the firmware solved it.

Well got a bit further, a message at least:
passwd: can't create '/etc/shadow+': File exists
passwd: can't update password file /etc/shadow
Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for your reply. When I try to access the router via telnet it seems to connect but I get a black screen. I cannot see any commands I type or response. Have you seen this before? Same for standard and SSH ports.

Hi guys,
I have just installed 1.6.2 on my TL-WR2543ND and its working great!
Just one thing annoys me: I cant change the default password. Is this a known issue.
Also when is the recent search history in https issue going to be resolved?
