i need to extract it because there is a bioatone wr1500 ver 3.0 router having a gargoyle firmware in it but i cant find the firmware anywhere on net so plz help out

Hi, I'm new to all this and I did everything as stated but when I type dd if=orig.bin of=tplink.bin skip=257 bs=512 on putty. It says no such file or directory. Worked perfectly on both tl-wr740n & tl-wr741nd....
But when attempted on TL-WR841N it showed
BUS ERROR
and after that the router keeps on rebooting within a second (all the LEDs keeps on glowing within a second).

thanks for your tip but the problem was that I was logging with SSH protocol, when I used telnet I got what I desired,
and i love gargoyle but sometimes we are forced to use open wart when gargoyle do not work or vice versa
