I have the same Router and i solved this issue putting " option wds '1' " in the /etc/config/wireless file. The GUI only enable wds on 2.4ghz interface. config wifi-iface 'ap_a' option device 'radio1' option mode 'ap' option network 'lan' option ssid 'WCR-HOME-5G' option encryption 'psk2' ...
