I did update/etc/config/network file (and rebooted) with the switch0 changes (same as I do with 1.7.2)

Hello I just flashed my TL-WDR4300 hw 1.7 and failed to retrieve a WAN IP from my ISP (via DHCP). My home setup is a bit uncommon maybe, however it works under 1.7.2. A TP cable from a "fiber box" to a managed switch on port 8, then port 7 is connected to the WAN port of WDR4300. The switc...

Did you run those tests after turning of bandwidth monitoring? (/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle stop) No, as I said, I intentionally did not change anyhthing after flashing. I wanted to test the out-of-the-box experience. However, I did a quick test right now and I can confirm that turning off bandwidth...

Is anyone with a very fast connection (100Mbps+) getting bottlenecked by the BB builds? Oh yes... and not only by the BB builds, unfortunately... I've been using Gargoyle for several years on 120Mbit connection with TL-WR1043ND v1 (pretty old revision 1.1!) and it was possible to get full speed act...

Upgraded my TL-WDR4300 v1.7 to 1.6.2 from 1.6.1 successfully (did _not_ preserve settings). One thing to note is that I used "old" reghack for 1.6.1 but that did not work well with 1.6.2 (5 Ghz got disabled), i had to use "new" reghack instead
