Re: B/W Distribution Usage versus Bandwidth Usage report by

I did some more tests today. Going out on a bit of a limb here (I could be completely wrong) but I suspect when quotas are set and the limit of those quotas are reached with throttling enabled (i.e. not set to shutdown Internet access once the quota has been reached but instead to throttle the conne...

Re: B/W Distribution Usage versus Bandwidth Usage report by

For some reason on the Bandwidth Usage page it is only showing 2 hours and not stats for every hour of the day when on the hour scale i.e. http://i.imgur.com/DTKchl5.png It does however seem to show more complete information when on the "day" scale: http://i.imgur.com/KMRdVRj.png I did how...

Re: B/W Distribution Usage versus Bandwidth Usage report by

Here is a screenshot of the relevant information from the ISP: http://i.imgur.com/IIFwug6.png And from the Gargoyle B/W Distribution screen filtered for the hour of 11am to 12pm (today): http://i.imgur.com/Gwakzrl.png I should also mention this is in a remote location and the source of the bandwidth...

Re: B/W Distribution Usage versus Bandwidth Usage report by

Sounds a little like you might be comparing bits with bytes? I did check that and I don't believe it is the case (both report in Mbs). It is not consistently off to that extent so I believe something else is up (some times they are a lot closer to each). For example for a particular hour slot the I...

B/W Distribution Usage versus Bandwidth Usage report by ISP

I am struggling trying to figure out what is happening as the data usage reported by the ISP is significantly higher than that as reported by the total data usage in the B/W Distribution section of the Gargoyle router. I am reasonably certain of the following: [*] The time zones for the stats report...

Re: TP-Link : TL-WR841N v10, Firmware Support

Okay thanks. Sorry about the confusion - I was looking on the Gargoyle Download section which only supports up to version 9: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/download.php

Re: TP-Link : TL-WR841N v10, Firmware Support

I don't understand, just go to their forum in Atheros section latesst build files are there, OpenWrt has it too Not for TL-WR841N v10 i.e. the download section currently only supports up to version 9 and not 10 (I bricked a router trying to install v9 software on a v10 router). And I have not been ...

Re: TP-Link : TL-WR841N v10, Firmware Support

I tried to flash a TP-WR841ND v10 router using the v9 firmware (by forcing the upgrade) but seem to have bricked the router so do not recommend doing this.

It would be great to have an official TP-WR841ND v10 version of the firmware.

Re: Firmware 1.6.1 (stable) unstable on Linksys WRT54GL

I was using a Mac so it was the standard webserver that comes with MAC OS. I am not sure what could be wrong. The IP address you are using does look odd however i.e. 192.168.137.1. Make sure that you are using the IP address of your local computer / webserver to do the wget. The only other thing I c...
