Re: bwmon flash frequency
Hi! If we want to increase the internal flash lifetime, how much time could be the recommended write interval? The default is 4 hour. Does it any improve it to let's say 24 hour at all? But I guess then the ramdisk could get fill if it's not written in adequate time, isn't it? On other hand the amou...

Re: Router not accessible
Hi! Well, it's a little bit late feedback, but I wanted to document the results. The Gargoyle login issue described by me at Dec 31, 2013, was checked by Avast developers, and following conclusions were made (in early January 2014, but I forgot to write back here): The root cause is in Gargoyle firm...

Re: Router not accessible
I posted the fault on the Avast forum linked topic. One of the Avast developer already sent me email, asking traces. I made the traces, so troubleshoot ongoing. I'll post here if there is some progress.

Re: Router not accessible
Related Avast topic is Fix for WebShield download issues , but that fix is actually introducing the issue, not solve it.
Here is the latest AVAST 2014 Program update (9.0.2011) link.
I don't have any conclusion yet but it's surely Avast problem.

Re: Router not accessible
Wow! You hit the nail, oba! Indeed it's related to Avast Antivirus! I also it have installed. I'm using Avast for years but never had such problem with Gargoyle. For test I disabled Avast, and the Gargoyle webgui issue does not appear, indeed! Actually there was an Avast program upgrade (to 2014.9.0...

Re: Router not accessible
I set cookies to delete when the browser shuts down, so I kind of doubt it has something to do with cookies. Yes, I agree, it seems to be related to cookies. It seems that cookie is expiring wrong time, and it maybe related to this end year change. (?) Strange This topic seems interesting, but no c...

Re: Router not accessible
Hi! I also have this problem one day now. Gargoyle 1.5.11 is running on TP-Link WR-842ND, it ran correctly for approx a month, this just started not long ago. Issue: in Firefox 26.0, if I go to http://192.168.0.1 address, then I Firefox puts this message: Server: httpd_gargoyle/1.0 14mar2008 Date: M...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!
Hi!
I successfully installed Gargoyle 1.5.11 firmware to this router:
TP-Link TL-WR842ND v1
This router has 32MB RAM, 8 MB Flash, and 1 USB2.0 port.
This firmware was installed:
gargoyle_1.5.11-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr842n-v1-squashfs-factory.bin
It works nicely! Thanks a lot!
