Re: Logging into the current pre-installed gargoyle via an internet browser

Thank you all for hanging with me. On my previous router, I only logged in locally and that is all I hope to do this time around. One of my obstacles is that it will be several weeks before I am back to the site where the new router is installed. I will try To wake up this thread when I am on that s...

Logging into the current pre-installed gargoyle via an internet browser

Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle

Okay. I am back with the internet but still not sure how to get into the router from a browser. Tomorrow I will repeat what we did today to get back into gargoyle via Ethernet so I can set limits on bandwidth. That’s all for me tonight. Thanks to all. You were amazing.

Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle

Wow. I’m in using 192.168.1.1. It took the password I set.

I will try to attach a screen shot, but the ones I have tried so far were rejected as too big.

Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle

Gulp. These roads both look like narrow twisty cow-paths that assume facility with Linux. I am not Linux adept. It seems that the router was mailed to me from a town near Boston. If that is gargoyle world headquarters, maybe I can convince “Erik” that I should drive there and swap what I have for a ...
