Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
It would appear it's not without challenges to build gargoyle on trunk. I managed to get it built with a few patches on r27832, but now it can't install for missing iptables-mod dependencies. Seems like iptables-mod-imq, -bandwidth, -timerange etc aren't being compiled anymore - they're missing from...

Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
Frederikv, I've tried compiling OpenWRT backfire RC5 from source and got an image that flashes, but it doesn't include the Luci interface. Do you know how to compile that in? I guess it's a matter of selecting it in the build process. If that fails, opkg update && opkg install luci should d...

Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
I'm not 100% sure the image actually includes the gargoyle interface. I know the packages have been built. I started of from OpenWrt trunk, and don't know whether I did things right to also include them in the image. Main thing to verify first is that this image actually boots into OpenWrt... If it ...

Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
Thanks for the offer! I uploaded the factory.bin and the sysupgrade.bin for the G300NH to mediafire.

Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
Building things that way actually still results in kernel .32 being used - because that's the current one in the backfire branch, which doesn't have the ipsec patches referenced in the original post. Checking out trunk OpenWrt & building gargoyle on top of that does build both with those patches...

Re: Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
Two problems building gargoyle on trunk at the moment: 1. The first cyassl patch appears to be no longer necessary. 2. gargoyle_header_footer.c doesn't build, because uci_add_history_path isn't in uci.h anymore. Not sure what the purpose of that function was - it was used twice only. The package bui...

Anybody built gargoyle on OpenWrt trunk recently?
Did anybody succeed in building the gargoyle packages on OpenWrt's trunk recently? In order to install IPSec, I need a few extra kernel packages (see https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=30982 ) Those are only being built in trunk at the moment, not in the Backfire branch. Alternatively, can s...

Installing packages to usb?
Does anybody have experience with gargoyle & installing additional packages to an USB stick? I tried with the opkg.conf option dest usb /mnt/usb, but that doesn't provide a seamless experience. The path isn't expanded to include the mounted directories, and libraries / kernel modules / etc fail ...

Copy bwmon data over from other install
Hi Eric,
just wondering if there is a way to copy bandwidth monitoring data over from one router to another?
I have a router on 1.1.7 which I'm replacing with another that runs 1.3.5 (dir-825).
Just copying /usr/data/webmon and /tmp/data/webmon doesn't seem to work?
Thanks,
Frederik
