Re: VPNFilter - Gargoyle has had no malware?
I ssh'd into my Gargoyle Router and there's no vpnfilter process, so I think I'm in the clear on that one. So far to my knowledge no one has been able to identify a simple way to determine whether your router is infected, so I don't think you can consider yourself safe by just checking for the proc...

Re: WNDR3700 WiFi weirdness with Android phones
I did think of that, but my desktop worked fine at the same time and the phone held the connection just fine. I did use Wifi Analyzer on the Play store and it showed the same networks as before. Then restarting a single process on the router fixing it instantly makes me thing that the competing wire...

Re: WNDR3700 WiFi weirdness with Android phones
I have not, is that this? https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.failsafe
And what would be the benefit of that versus reflashing?

WNDR3700 WiFi weirdness with Android phones
So I've had this router for years, and I've been running Gargoyle 1.9.1 since shortly after it came out and many versions before that with zero WiFi issues, it has been completely stable. I feel like things got weird, though, after I messed with a guest network when playing around with setting up my...

Re: I have a TP-Link Archer C7 Hardware Version 3
It worked just fine for me, in fact much easier than the V2 I also got that had the "locked" firmware and required me to TFTP DD-WRT first.

Archer C7 v3 Works!
I ordered a C7 from Amazon assuming it would be a "v2" and when it got here today it showed "3.0" for the version (hardware and firmware). That threw me off so to be safe I tried searching to see if it's supported, and ended up with like 20 tabs open on OpenWRT, DD-WRT, etc. with...

Re: Version 1.9.1
All went well on WNDR3700 coming from 1.9.0 without preserving settings.

Cloudflare not working for DDNS
I tried to set up Cloudflare DDNS for the first time today and it is not working. Doing some research it seems they updated their API in the last week or two. It looks like the address and the parameters have changed. Making it more complicated, it seems the record ID is required, and for a subdomai...

Re: chrome acces router management not working
There's some interesting information here: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/jasig-c ... bcMxxdfpsJ
It may actually be the headers being sent incorrectly as the error says. Hopefully this can be fixed in Gargoyle, sucks not being able to get to the interface from my Chromebook.
