Boom! Fixed! It's been so long since I've done that I forgot about the emergency flash mode thank you soo much upcock!!

Damn, not even wget nor scp work. Work and go to school full time wish I had the time to solder a serial... into the trash she goes. Gargoyle is awesome in its simplicity. Was a solid little inexpensive router.

Thank you for your suggestion ispyisail, when I enter uci get network.lan.ipaddr it returns Uci: Entry not found .. can I set the lan IP through here?

edit- I tried etc/init.d/network reload and it responded with Failed to connect to ubus

[SOLVED!!] DIR-601: bricked after flash of 1.5.11

edit- see solution below! Hello all, I wouldn't bother anyone unless I really couldn't figure it out and well the method I've used for unbricking my DIR-601a1 is not working this time. So after what appeared to be a successful flash upgrade from 1.5.10 to 1.5.11, upon reboot, I cannot ping the route...
