Geez, that looks like alot, is there no way to access the router via the USB port with a serial to usb cable?

I no longer can connect via the ethernet ports. Can someone help me serial recover? Why are there firmwares posted that brick for this model?

I got 1.3.9 on there but it will not broadcast wireless. There is a 1.5 version for this router. I can try that I guess.

edit: I think I just bricked it.

I see some have has success here with 1.3.xx but I guess since the thing is older this doesn't get attention. I currently have the latest dd-wrt and plan on upgrading tonight using these instructions:
