I've also tried setting the manual sleep timing via Seagate Dashboard to 3 minutes, as well as disabling the manual sleep override. No effect. Sleep will only be triggered after x minutes of idleness, which never happens because the harddisk is actually constantly been accessed. Run out of ideas, lo...
