Re: Is Gargoyle Dead?
Thanks. I guess I forgot to hit "Notify me when a reply is posted" so I didn't know you replied. I go back here once in a while to see what's been posted and noticed the reply. I grabbed all the images. Just gotta figure out how to load them again since I haven't worked on the router for o...

Re: Is Gargoyle Dead?
I appreciate all the work. I remember the work I did way back to help out with a newer router. I wish I had the time to help but I'm full-time busy.
I'm fine to wait but I'm hoping to see Gargoyle on the BPi-R3.

Is Gargoyle Dead?
Hi all,
Long time Gargoyle user. I see that OpenWRT has been on 24.10 for a while but the last version of Gargoyle was based on 22. I understand that Eric/Lantis are very busy and this is a free project, however, I'm just wondering if development is still continuing or if Gargoyle is dead?

Re: Gargoyle 1.15.x BETA - 2024-05-20 - Based on OpenWrt 23.05
The BPi-R3 is another mediatek router supported in OpenWRT 23.05. Can we get a beta image for it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

OpenWRT 23.05 - New Gargoyle?
Well, OpenWRT 23.05 is finally stable. Are we going to see a new version of Gargoyle in the new future? I love Gargoyle and I had to replace my router with one that isn't presently supported by Gargoyle but it is supported by 23.05 so I'm anxiously awaiting the new release so I can get back to Gargo...

BPI-R3 Support?
Hi all, Well, my archer C7 is starting to get flaky. Been running gargoyle on it for many years and it is starting to just drop wifi, stop working, stop granting IPs, etc. So, I'm looking for a new router with plenty of horsepower for my busy household and at least 2 USB ports for media sharing. I h...

Re: Favorite routers currently? (Nov 2022)
Thanks for the link but that seems to be specific to NZ.
Interesting discussion either way.

Re: Favorite routers currently? (Nov 2022)
I am also interested in what routers are favored. I also have an Archer C7 (with 2USB ports, so the older one) and I would like to look at a replacement router. I would like to have 2xUSB ports and at least as good performance as Archer C7, but I am also on a limited budget. What's the best bang for...
