Re: Anonymous usage statistics
Although I highly appreciate obsy's builds, I never turn on the statistics, and never will. Reason: my router is mine, and mine alone. As I suspect many people will do this, and there is no way of telling who turned it on and who turned it off. Therefore it will be difficult to make any meaningful a...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2016-April-22 19:16.torrent
@Mike_Krüger Do you have the new model with the "FCC locked firmware" ? If so did you had any issues installing gargoyle on it? Well, I am in Europe, the FCC has nowt to say here. The main difficulty here was that TP-Link for whatever reason changed a part and it was not picked up by the ...

Re: Sky Fibre & MER dhcp options 60/61
Would you be able to help me? Would you be able to add the two options under WAN and let me know if they show up in your gui, or would that not work? I'd rather not flash the router with a new firmware without knowing if it will work. [...] config interface 'wan' option ifname 'eth0.2' option proto...

Re: Sky Fibre & MER dhcp options 60/61
Just to add in openwrt I get the following 2 options... Client ID to send when requesting DHCP Vendor Class to send when requesting DHCP Those options allow me to connect using a hex username and password. Do these options exist in Gargoyle? They don't exist as an extra option in the Web interface,...

Re: Bricked my Archer C7
Oh, there are two threads now discussing basically the same thing...
Anyway, for debricking perhaps my message in the other thread is useful.
It's not a complicated process at all, but you do need to follow the instructions to the letter.

Re: TP-LINk Archer C7 V2 TCP connections
I've sent a version for testing to a user. Well, that's great news :) I had a PM asking for more information on how to unbrick the C7. As I already mentioned you can unbrick it quite easily using TFTP software. It's like an FTP-server, but the router actively asks for an image before it starts boot...

Re: TP-LINk Archer C7 V2 TCP connections
I have been working on a patch. Great to hear that! Let me know if you need a guinea pig. I am getting no response to 192.168.1.1 :-( . I will start to dig the "bricked" forum to see if I can recover. I managed to get my C7 going again quite easily on Win7 with TFTD32/TFTD64 , I liked it ...

Re: Bricked my Archer C7
Thanks - and of course I'd give a whirl. I had to recover through TFTP twice last night, so I well know the drill nowLantis wrote:If it successfully compiled I'd then need a Guinea pig who is comfortable recovering a router from a non working state.

Looking forward to trying it out.
