Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle
I'm afraid you won't get anywhere without Ethernet. You must first connect to the Ethernet router in the LAN interface. As an example I attach a screenshot (Blue is WAN, yellow is LAN): https://iihelp.iinet.net.au/sites/iihelp.iinet.net.au/files/nbnsatset5.png Then make the settings according to my ...

Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle
You may be right - it looks like he's joining the WAN and that's why the 1 st question was in place. However, to make such a rule, it must first connect to the router and set it up. But this must come from the LAN. What about the settings here? https://i.imgur.com/8uHLa4g.png EDIT: My theory - if it...

Re: Converting from previous pre-installed gargoyle
I have already understood that you are connecting via LAN, sorry. 1. PC set IP to get from DHCP. 2. Put the router in default configuration - this step will be important 3. When the router starts up, the PC should get IP from DHCP (eg IP: 192.168.1.101, gateway: 192.168.1.1) 4. You Should Get on the...

Try not to use the backup. If the status is the same, look at the other end of the cable or try downgrade.CBx86 wrote: Tested a new modem, i m sure its have gigabit port.
Still Amber.
Edit2: Suspect DHCP.

Re: 1.11.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2019-April-13 21
This version of gargoyle is based on Openwrt 18.06.0, 18.06.0-rc1,18.06.0-rc2,18.06.1 or 18.06.2? Many thanks! Neither of these. This is the 18.06-SNAPSHOT version: http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/18.06-SNAPSHOT/ It is a moving changing version derived from the development version - at least ...

Re: QoS on variable Bandwith
Yes, it has these qualities. I do not use it and therefore I will refer you to the documentation: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=qos

Re: TL-WDR4300 TX Under Powered ?
I agree, too, about performance disappointment. The newer the product, the weaker the WiFi - maybe because the laws on performance in regions, power amplifier technology and other factors are changing. I would rather deal with OpenWrt, Gargoyle is not to blame. TEST ONLY! (forbidden in my country) I...

Re: x86_64 Plugin Sources double up
So I installed VirtualBox, I made the virtual disk gargoyle_1.11.x-x86-64-combined-ext4.vdi from version 1.11.X (Built 20190413-2151 git@29b57d66) and started it:

Re: x86_64 Plugin Sources double up
Beware of a typo. Version (which I use) 1.11.X really has the name 1.12 and is not duplicate:
