Re: 1.11.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2019-July-06 11

I find it very interesting... There is OpenWrt 18.06.3 there, then it is not there, then there it is and writes that there were problems ... who knows if something is also in version 18.06.4. I can't reproduce such errors. If I can ask when you do version tests, do a clean OpenWrt test to see if the...

Re: DDNS

Aruljohn.com shows me correctly. Then you would have to use VPN as a gateway to the Internet and here it can happen. Otherwise, I don't know.

Here I found some instructions: https://pceftpos.com/wp-content/uploads ... -v1-08.pdf , depending on what scheme you have (1 or 2 or 3).

Re: DDNS

In the penultimate (last) build from @ispyisail (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12065), the DDNS bug has been fixed (due to a bad checkmyip.com domain), so you can delete the fix in the hosts file.

P.S. otherwise this communication doesn't belong here, it would be good to create a new thread and move the posts there... ;)

Re: 1.11.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2019-July-06 11

If the pc running the interface and account software is DMZ, assume it all works fine? This could be similar to FTP helpers in conntrack being disabled. I do not suppose that the software will work as a "server" (It must work without a public fixed IP (behind NAT)) - so I was thinking of ...

Check all certificates. ?? Also, the domain can play a role (IP address), ?? and the last time check that the date and time settings are correct. I will check this but im not sure how it makes a difference? ?? = I took all the things that might happen, I'm not saying it's just your problem, just po...

Re: DLNA(?) not working

You can try to delete the database, a new one will be created when the service is restarted - it may be corrupted.

The log is stored in the same location as the database. Find the location from the /etc/config/minidlna file

Example:

Code: Select all

option log_dir '/mnt/.minidlna'

Re: How can I switch off HDD head parking?

I also dealt with it for a while, but hopelessly. It's not a Gargoyle thing, but Linux as such (OpenWrt). It works perfectly in Windows, but once I connect it to the router, it behaves incorrectly. You can try hd-idle or hdparm opkg packages. Parameter settings will help google. http://www2.nslu2-li...
