Re: Revert WR1043ND v2.1 to stock firmware
Hi ispyisail, I was looking on the wiki but apparently there's no info about revert to stock. also checked on the forum and they mention some options but most of them point to an FTP that is still valid but not open anymore, requires user and password. Also, many processes are for bricked routers an...

Revert WR1043ND v2.1 to stock firmware
Hi, does anyone know if the procedure to revert to stock firmware with V2 also applies for 2.1? Seen here: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=revert redirects you here where only v1 and v2 are available. http://www.friedzombie.com/tplink-stripped-firmware/ I assume v2 is good for 2.x b...

Re: Space in disk
Hi Eric, can you describe how to install MiniDLNA on a mounted USB drive. I'm looking for that exactly but not able to find it and not an expert on linux OS.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.

Re: WR1043ND v1.9 and Gargoyle 1.5.9
I did flash with german version prior to moving into gargoyle. I'm currently on 1.5.10 and now it's really stable even with uploads.

Re: WR1043ND v1.9 and Gargoyle 1.5.9
Thanks for confirming at least that with those extra features you also start suffering the same issues I do. Using 40mhz seems to cause the WLAN to shut down as I saw it reported. That's because the 40mhz method uses 2 channels and if any antenna nearby overlaps you channel with a strong signal, it ...

Re: WR1043ND v1.9 and Gargoyle 1.5.9
Hi Bluarsedfly, is there any reason why you tried 1.5.6 instead of 1.5.4? from what I saw a cuple of posts prior to yours, 1.5.6 had random reboots while 1.5.4 don't. I'm currently on 1.5.9 and yesterday I started having reboots on loop so I was unable to connect to the antenna and had to reset it t...

Re: WR1043ND v1.9 and Gargoyle 1.5.9
Did you try the USB on version 1.5.4?
I'm currently on 1.5.9 but performance copying to the external drive is not good and furthermore, it randomly disconnects and I have to reset the drive from web interface to recover access to it.
That is currently the only problem I'm having with 1.5.9 and 1043ND
