Re: Want to truly "unleash" my router.
Ok, so I already have my console on a static IP and a QOS rule for it here: https://gyazo.com/c38512d305187f41054cc20dc008d187 However, it still feels like I'm a hair behind what's happening in real time in my games; namely Call of Duty. Ports are forwarded, NAT is open, and UPNP is enabled. Accordi...

Oh cool. Any suggested commands for dropping/filtering packets on a particular lan device?

Want to truly "unleash" my router.
First of all, Merry Christmas! I'm reading through OpenWRT commands and I'm about to start toying with command line in via SSH. Before I go there, I was just wondering where to get to find plugin URLs. The only one I have is Lantis Project. This guy has some pretty interesting stuff, but adding this...

Re: Need to revert to stock
Oh cool. What makes this QOS any different from the default? I'll try this first. Also, I didn't read up on a way to change FW directly, but I found the stripped software on the Lede website, so I'll use that since it works with Gargoyle and Lede. I can swap b/w the two without a hitch hopefully. Al...

Need to revert to stock
I'm using a TL-WDR3600 and need to revert back to the original FW to give Lede a shot. No QOS setting I've tried have worked and games play just fine when I'm wired directly to my modem, so my modem is fine. There used to be a file that would allow you to revert back without using putty and SSH but ...

Re: There must be a better way
With many video streaming sites using HTTPS, it's difficult to catch it. I'm not sure what your goal is - but I suppose you could treat it like downloads (ie. any download over X MB, then assigning minimum or maximum bandwidth depending on what your goal is)... but even that could be difficult with...

Re: Extremely low speeds TPL WDR-3600
ACC was definitely my issue. I haven't had a significant drop since turning it off. My ping is still in the teens as well. Thanks, pbix.

Re: Extremely low speeds TPL WDR-3600
The drops vary in time and length. I haven't thought about disabling ACC. I will do that and report back in 24hrs with a more full description if problems persist.

Extremely low speeds TPL WDR-3600
I have 30 down 4 up. My upload normally stays in the 3.5 area but my download likes to drop below 5. Pings sometimes shoot up into the 300s. This never happens on stock firmware. Stock firmware just has horrible bandwidth rule settings. I need a real QOS. DD-WRTs isn't as easily managed as Gargoyle'...

Re: QoS for home network
Im all set! Thanks for the input. It was just enough to steer me in the right direction. Currently, Im watching a stream on source from twitch on my gaming PC, downloading 2 movies on my HTPC, and streaming netflix on my WD live in HD w/o a single hitch or slowdown. I set my torrents to never use mo...
