I completely agree with you on OpenWrt. I am the founder of X-Wrt, though it's now a bit deprecated. It seems, perhaps due to your work, OpenWrt has changed a bit. I have also seen this problem. I am going to look into it more deeply shortly. It seems to be a general bug from my perspective. I will check the web interface source and determine what's up soon. Note I"m just a user, not a Gargoyle member.
