I can't seem to get this to work. If I add mail.google.com as a Rule Description I can't access anything.
Is this feature suppose to work in a similar way to Tomato (ie. http://www.polarcloud.com/tomatofaq#in_ ... ction_page)?

Re: Updates
I'm considering upgrading my Meraki minis to Gargoyle too. By "AP + Client", do you mean two APs in a WDS setup? ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

Re: Licence Question
Thanks for the licence explanation and the history lesson.
As you said the gargoyle was designed to scare off evil spirits. I suggest many people would naturally tend to react this way too, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Licence Question
Eric: Firstly congratulations on the release on the release of V1. This is truly an amazing product and I look forward to using and supporting it in the years to come. However I am concerned that some people would be turned off by the gargoyle logo. The logo would not be an issue if users were not e...

Re: quota's question
I'm including this comment in the hope that it will encourage others to try out the excellent bandwidth quota feature and even more importantly report back on their experience. :) Gargoyle is Open Source. Your comments help improve the software. Eric: Thanks again and congratulations for this excell...

Dynamic DNS Services
Eric: At the moment this feature restricts users to one of four preset services. I appreciate that your goal is to keep the GUI as simple as possible but I'm wondering whether you would consider including "custom" as a selection (together with an appropriate input box)? This would allow us...

Intercept DNS Port
Eric: I've tested the custom DNS feature and noticed it only works when DNS clients are set to Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically. If I test using http://www.opendns.com/welcome/oops/ and set my PC to use specific DNS servers the settings in Gargoyle are ignored. DD-WRT uses iptables to address...
