Re: Some questions from newbie
Auto Channel Selection: it can be done if you ssh into your router. N-only is not available encryption in ...

Re: Dynamic DNS updating to wrong IP address
You can ssh into the router & use 'logread' or possibly 'dmesg'. logread is only going to hold so much data (in RAM), so you can't see messages from 3 days ago.

Re: Gargoyle simplified Chinese Language Pack
Uh - I totally missed that. You said Excel file - I worked with that. Never even noticed the folder next to it. I fixed what I messed up. I also found a old Simplified Chinese fork of Gargoyle & used some of their translations. I changed some more things: quotasStr.NA="不适用"; - The Engl...

Re: build error
Zip up the .config file & upload it here.
I commented out all the compiling in the build.sh script - I don't see that problem in a 10 second cycling through the profiles.

Re: Router not accessible
That error is sent by the little http server on the router.
I'm not sure why - the source seems to suggest the page wasn't there for some unknown reason. overview.sh should be there in /www

Re: WRT54GS v4 not responding after turning wifi on
Maybe you are right about 1.5.10. I seem to remember something about OpenWrt's Attitude Adjustment branch (which 1.5.10 is based on) being too much for older routers like the WRT54G. Maybe the GS too. You can try something from the Backfire branch if you still want Gargoyle. I think Gargoyle 1.4.7 w...

I got some of the menu text from your translations. I hope something didn't turn out to be "Wood shavings with goose intestine".

Re: Gargoyle simplified Chinese Language Pack
I use a text editing program & go 1 by 1. Its boring - so thank you for doing it. Excel - I wouldn't have thought of that, but I used LibreOffice, exported it as csv & did some awk magic. Some things I noticed: * quotas.NA - that's a long abbreviation & its a small amount of space * rest...
