Actually I've just found that AP-Client mode works just fine (with the single DIR-601)! Not sure why it works and repeater doesn't. Main difference I can see in the configs is that Repeater just uses a LAN config, no WAN. (Should I be taking this to a different thread? I seem to have hijacked my own...
