Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
Another idea could be try using madwifi from this svn: http://trac.fonosfera.org/fon-ng/browser/trunk/fon/madwifi This is the svn for the firmware used in the fonera 2.0. Hello, I tried this solution compiling madwifi,hostapd,wpa_supplicant from the above svn. But the problem is that using this mod...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
I tried r13707 and problem is present. So the bug is in a changeset between r13001 and r13706. I think we must find the wrong changeset first. After that, if there are a lot of patches we can open a specific ticket to help openwrt developers to find the problem, or if there are small changes, we can...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
The changes I applied are in the svn... but like I said this is a horrible ugly hack. It isn't that I applied a patch to revert previous patches, as I might do for a minor issue, it's that I reverted the entire madwifi driver, hostapd and wpa_supplicant (since the code for the latter two is influen...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
Ok, I have a version that seems to be working for me... but since everyone seems to report different symptoms I'm not sure this is a definitive solution. I'm hoping you guys can help test. What I did (and I admit this is a horrible, ugly hack) is revert madwifi, hostapd and wpa_supplicant back to r...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
When I setup the Fon 2201+ as DHCP Wireless, in the Client + AP mode, in Xirrus, it shows the vendor type as "Allied Telesyn Internaional" I think it happens because when setting ap+sta, the mac ap of fonera become 06:18... So, I think your program identify that as Allied.. I don't think ...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
OK, I compiled both versions ( revision 13707 and revision 13708 ). You can download them here : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R2AE49TO In the tar.gz there are file for fonera and for ubnt ns2. How to put them in your fonera? Search the forum and you will find the answer. What test to do? Try first t...
