Re: Quota page not displayed

Yes you were right. The command does hang and the restricter_gargoyle process is using 98% of the cpu. I will disable the ntpclient process so that the date/time is not changed.

Re: Quota page not displayed

Is there any way to check the current quota usage from a ssh session?

If there isn't I may just disable the date/time update at boot time and just run with the current date as 1/1/2000 until the problem is sorted out. This way the web page will still work.

Quota page not displayed

I have noticed that sometimes the quota web page is not displayed correctly. The Gargoyle logo and the top border of the page are displayed but the menu and the actual page contents are not. I think this may have something to do with changing the time after the router boots as I was able to display ...

Date and Time not set

Hi, I have noticed that the date and time are not set correctly after the router is powered off and then on again. I have an update frequency of every hour set in System->Time settings but my router has been up for over 8 hours and the date is still 1/1/00. If I click "Save Changes" on tha...

Re: Beta 5 Reboot option disappeared

Thanks that fixed the problem and a few other missing options. Also explains why the reboot option was missing in previous bleeding edge versions i tried. Is there a reason that this file is backed up when the current configuration file is backed up? It doesn't appear to have things that are related...

Beta 5 Reboot option disappeared

Hi,

I have just installed Beta 5. Seems to be working fine but I notice that there was a Reboot option under the System Tab that was there when I installed but disappeared once I reloaded my old settings.

Re: Quotas and shutdown

I am not really worried about the physical access to the router but more concerned about saving the values before the router is turned off. Is it possible to program the router to run a script when the Cisco button on the front is pressed?

Re: Quotas and shutdown

Eric, Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think about wearing out the flash chip. The problem for me is that we sometimes turn the router off in the middle of the day if we leave the house. In this case we would lose the quota details. Also I could see someone exploiting this to reduce their usa...
