DDNS beaconing to malware site?
So I have configured DDNS and everything seems to be working fine except that I noticed in my OpenDNS logs that my network has been trying to resolve a couple of domains blocked under the category of Proxy/Anonymizer. The first of these 2 domains shows to be malicious per McAfee and Norton's link ch...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!
Final result on a WZR-HP-G300NH2 was good, though I did brick it initially. I am extremely happy with it! Please note that I ordered a WZR-HP-G300NH from newegg because it is in the list of supported routers but they sent me a WZR-HP-G300NH 2 which is not on the list but I did get it to work using t...

Google Chat voice plugin
I am trying to setup QoS for Google Chat voice plugin. The Gargoyle drop-down menu doesn't show Google. Any idea what the best way to do this is? If not, maybe I could observe the traffic of a phone call and use that information to configure it? Or do some packet sniffing maybe...

DHCP Reservations
I want to be able to force certain bandwidth limitations on specific wireless clients so I need for them to always get the same IP address. The option "Block MAC addresses assigned a static IP that connect from a different IP" is interesting but not quite true DHCP reservation. There is a ...

Re: Go back and tweak?
I initially unbricked it with: openwrt-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g300nh2-squashfs-tftp.bin I am glad to report, however, that I just TFTP'd this (experimental) version of Gargoyle to my WZR-HP-G300NH2 and have a Gargoyle HTTP login page! gargoyle_1.5.8-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g300nh2-squashfs-tftp.bin Yay...

Re: Go back and tweak?
Looks like I need to "install OpenWrt Kamikaze and then install Gargoyle as a set of packages on top of it" per... http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=install_guide But which of these Kamikaze files do I put on the router?: http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2/ar71xx/ T...
