Re: Version 1.5.10
I have been able to partially fix my issues with my Note 2 on my wndr3700v2 by disabling wmm on the router, this has fixed the 2.4 GHz band from dropping, still not auto connecting to the 5 GHz but I can live with it now. Some have had issues with slower speeds especially on the 5 GHz by doing this,...

Re: Version 1.5.10
This has been happening with some of my android devices. I can confirm this on a WNDR3700v1, versions 1.5.10 AND 1.4.2 Interestingly it does not appear happen to an android 2.2.1 device. It happens most often with my Nexus 4, and half as often with my Nexus 7. The same issue is not present with an ...

Re: WNDR3700 Gigabit WAN No Link
Been researching this, seems like if I force the WAN side to negotiate at 100 mbit it should solve the issue. I found these instructions, anyone see any possible issues with it running on Gargoyle (they are generic for openwrt): I found that my UnityMedia supplied Cisco EPC3212 cable modem doesn't p...

WNDR3700 Gigabit WAN No Link
Hello all, long time user here. Been going along great but my modem decided to die on me so I had Comcast swap it for a new one. The new one is the same model, but it seems to connect gigabit now which I never noticed before. It works fine in the stock firmware, but every version of Gargoyle that I ...

Re: Version 1.5.5: OpenVPN
Ok, I figured out what was going on with OpenVPN not saving anything. The error only gets triggered if there are port forward(s) defined, which is why I was having trouble reproducing it, and didn't catch it initially. There was a bug in the code that was checking to make sure that none of the port...

g12345: Very specifically, does the screen darken? You say you see the click animation, but do you see the spinning blue wheel with the dark screen? No the screen does not darken and there is no blue spinning wheel, just sits there like I never hit the button... Same behavior with all browsers test...

Re: Version 1.5.5: OpenVPN
Regarding issues with Tor config -- I don't think the config file structure changed in this version, but there were major differences between versions prior to 1.5.4 and versions 1.5.4 and after. If you want to update Tor config without wiping settings you can replace /etc/config/tor with the file ...

Re: Version 1.5.5: OpenVPN
Has anyone been able to get an OpenVPN server to work on this version? My issue is that if I choose VPN server in the GUI, I cannot save the configuration, I hit the save changes button and it doesn't do anything and will not turn the OpenVPN server on at all. I can configure a client just fine just...

WNDR3700v1 Dropping Port Forwards
I have really enjoyed this firmware, the QOS is the best that I have used. I have been having issues and trying to determine if it is my router going bad (I have a WNDR3700V1) or software related. I started out with 1.4.0 version and it worked great, upgraded to 1.4.1 and started having port forward...
