Cool. I have an older version and don't have that. Maybe I'll upgrade.BashfulBladder wrote:In 1.5.10 (maybe 1.5.9), you can see the reported speed that the underlying OS uses on the Status page. Note: when some of my machines go to sleep, the speed reported changes.

Re: Netgear WNDR3700 V2 LED is orange/amber--Not Gigabit?
I have the same router. Mine is orange with Cat6 and Cat5e. It doesn't matter which one you use. Cat5e in a gigabit port can do way more than 115 mbps. Your internet will have to at least quadruple or quintuple to saturate it, good sir. Huh? I meant I can tell the port is not operating at 100Mbit b...

I am getting the amber light as well but my internet connection is going 115Mbit so I guess it's really connected at gigabit speed.

Wake on WAN doesn't work
I tried forwarding UDP port 9 to one of my devices I want to wake from the internet and it does not work. I had no problem getting this to work on my Dlink DIR-655 router.
I am using the following to send the "Wake on WAN" packet.

Re: Accessing External IP Inside LAN (NAT Loopback)
Yeah my Network Attached Storage device is wired and I cannot connect to it with my external IP via other wired devices. But I can connect to it through wireless devices. Must be a software bug in Gargoyle like you said. I found this post from 2009: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph...

Yes. Works with wireless devices on Gargoyle but not wired for some reason.

Re: Accessing External IP Inside LAN
Well I tried something else and now I'm back to square one. I tried connecting to my external (internet) IP with a device connected to the Gargoyle router wireless AP and it worked. But I still can't connect to my external IP through devices connected to the gigabit LAN ports on the Gargoyle router....

Re: Gargoyle Performance
I don't have any problems achieving gigabit speeds on the LAN ports.
